HCV Patient Access Care Manager – North of England

This is a 12-month contract beginning March 2021, joining our global pharma client as a PCA Manager in an awarding winning HCV Patient Access to Care team.

The team is responsible for developing and delivering the patient finding strategy for Addiction services within the North of England. You’ll be working with HCV coordinators, Operational Delivery Networks and other key stakeholders.

The day rate is in the region of £300+/day. There is the possibility of a longer-term opportunity beyond the initial 12-months contract.

Experience required:

  • Experience in re-designing services with the NHS coupled with excellent project management skills.
  • A significant depth of drug service environment or Hepatitis C experience is preferable
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes.
  • Excellent external stakeholder management – create productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders being viewed as a valued partner.
  • Proven experience working in a cross-functional and matrix environment.

Essential Duties and Job Functions

  • Develop and deliver cross-functional PAC strategy within Northern England with external and internal stakeholders to achieve the target number of patients commencing DAA treatment.
  • Manage performance by working with internal and external teams to ensure collective actions and milestones are delivered and on course as required.
  • Identify opportunities to build supporting business cases for investment.
  • Champion elimination, represent our client while inspiring a range of stakeholders to change behaviours, ranging from those working within Addiction services, the NHS, public health or government officials.
  • Lead and support where necessary on national initiatives designed to improve patient discovery capabilities e.g., awareness programmes, educational and training materials, piloting innovative pathways.
  • Ensure a clear focus on compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements and internal business conduct policies in this sensitive and potentially complex area.
