Role: Paid Media Manager Manager (PPC & Paid Social) 

Location: Chesnut Co-working space - Tuesdays & Fridays with the rest from home

Salary: £35k - £50k plus bonus and benefits

How much do you want a PPC role that focused on client management and working on strategic projects?

This is not your average Paid Media Manager role, This role is 100% strategic and will be working with clients that are looking to turn around underperforming accounts and need your expertise. After a  number of client wins the Growth Marketing Consultancy needs to add a Strategic thinker to work directly with clients to establish new goals and turn around underperforming AdWords accounts. They have built a reputation as being a straight-talking no-nonsense consultancy who knows their stuff when it comes to Performance Marketing. 

But what about the role?

You will be working directly with the two agency founders and being the strategic lead for some of their key accounts. They have a strict "no-jerk clients" policy and you will act as a wicket-keeper making sure they work with good quality clients who appreciate you and the team's expertise. 

You will be responsible specifically for the strategic aspects of a selection of high-spending accounts (Around £150k per month), these accounts will all have their own unique trials and tribulations that you will have to overcome. The Consultancy specialises in turning around accounts with a falling ROAS or lacking direction across the Google Suite (Search & PMAX) and Paid Social so that will be the bulk of your client projects.

There is no set progression route for this role, it depends entirely on you, as have big plans to expand their execution teams over the next 18 months so there are options to be both a head of strategy or a team manager. 

PPC is the most important function for the agency, it originally started as a PPC focused and it continues to be a focus for the company. Your efforts in continuing to build and grow their visibility, traffic relevance and volumes will be paramount to achieving the client's goals.

Experience Needed

  • Passion and enthusiasm for performance marketing - PPC predominantly with Paid Social as a secondary.
  • At least a few years of experience managing large PPC clients, working to different KPI’s and proven experience of driving results and impact. An Average spend of over £100k would be preferable.
  • Experience of paid social as well would be preferred.
  • Experience working on a variety of PPC / Paid Social accounts, small, large or medium as long as they have had a variety of challenges you have needed to overcome.
  • Experience in developing paid search strategies and forecasting paid search performance.
  • Ability to present and communicate paid strategies to stakeholders. This is a client-facing role you will need to be able to ask difficult questions and work with clients.
  • Demonstratable examples of how you have driven results in performance marketing and worked within a team environment.
