Role:  Performance Marketing Manager - Insurance
Location: London – remote until the end of the year
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 base
Benefits: Bespoke benefits package

The first thing to highlight here is the role is looking for someone hungry to grow and develop. This role is a broad performance marketing role covering PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic and Affiliates with SEO thrown in for good measure.

If you looking for progression and more exposure to different channels or you want to own a relationship with Google or Facebook this role will give you the opportunity. The insurance company is VC backed and there is massive opportunities for growth, with the VC fund is very open to increasing budgets based on success. If you are hungry and looking for some real career achievements this could be the place to do it.

This is a hands-on role when it comes to Performance marketing but there is plenty of scope to take on strategic projects. They are at the early stages of a digital transformation and now need additional headcount to make sure the targets are hit and take on some of the more strategic projects.

About The Role

The role is very straight forward in its current state but it’s primed to evolve with the right individual. Its going to be fast paced and hands on, It’s going to be your responsibility to manage the strategy and deployment of performance campaigns make sure there is a solid ROI for campaigns with the aim of keeping CPA down. Once you are settled the role will expand and focus on managing strategic projects. The head of has been tasked with transitioning the business to a digital first approach and as you can imagine there are plenty of projects to go around.

The company is growing year on year and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, focusing on a market that has been largely overlooked but other insurance players they are capitalising and are securing a dominant foothold in the space.

It’s a relatively small team of 3 and being the Performance Marketing Manager, you will have project support supplied by a shared resource Paid Search Exec potentially 2.

As the Senior, you will be expected to self-manage your tasks, strategize & deploy campaigns for the relevant markets. The work will be fast paced and varied but it will come down to you how the role evolves into a deputy Head of Digital.

Experience Necessary

  • A demonstrable proven track record in digital marketing management across all channels within a retail environment is essential.
  • International market experience would be desirable
  • Superb organisational and management skills which allows you to juggle multiple projects and professionally thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of how digital channels work and the levers to pull to drive performance, KPIs, traffic and ROI.
  • A natural commercial focus, with the ability to make entrepreneurial ROI based decisions and can progressively identify opportunities to drive out international digital growth.
  • A collaborative style in your approach and you can positively work across multiple teams and are able to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Digitally advanced, with an intuitive understanding of how users and consumers interact in an ecommerce environment and how best to optimise digital channels and journeys.
  • Confident user of excel and analytical tools such as Google Analytics & Adwords with the ability to deep dive into the data to analyse and propose actions that drive performance.
  • Numerate with excellent attention to detail, capable of ensuring data accuracy at all times.
  • Demonstrable influencing skills when managing key stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, forward thinking with a determination to achieve results.
