Job: Pharmaceutical Brand Manager (Digital, UX, UI)

Duration: 12 months Maternity cover

Location: Manchester – 2 days a week

There are many reasons to be drawn to marketing, and each person has their own passions within the speciality; if yours lays in customer experience and digital marketing then please read on.


You’d be working with a speciality care portfolio which doesn’t need to be marketed in the traditional sense.  The company and products are broadly recognised and accepted as being best in class in their field, almost to the exclusion of the competition. 

So this isn’t about differentiation, awareness raising or promotion per se – it’s about the customer experience.

To this end you’d be helping drive a more digitally oriented approach to brand management strategy.  There are traditional brand management activities like development of tactical plans, working with the sales force etc but what you’ll be doing that’s exciting is helping the pivot towards developing bespoke digital content and projects.  It’s become evident over the last couple of years that leave pieces are neither practical effective or what HCPS want.  You’ll be working hard to identify and deliver to their actual needs.


So who will you be working with?

Our client is a well established research based pharma company with a well deserved reputation for ethical conduct and products.  We’ve got some great examples of where they put their money where their mouth is in respect of putting the patient first.  It’s a small, focused team where you’d be working hand in glove with the senior product manager who be delighted to help you develop expertise and knowledge as required.  While there are certain requirements that you’ll have to have in terms of experience (see below) the most important quality you’ll bring is your attitude and personality.


What do you need to apply?

  • Attitude – hard working, driven to learn and develop and a desire to make a meaningful contribution.  Also.  Fun.
  • A grounding in pharma brand oriented marketing with and awareness of NHS structures
  • -Strong understanding of digital /multichannel marketing solutions including a focus on UX/UI.
  • If you’re familiar with PromoMats that would be a huge plus point.
