Project Manager/Co-ordinator - Pharmaceutical Industry

Overview:

You will be working with a Global Pharmaceutical company and a long-standing client of ours in their North West based Head Office. You will support all areas of the business within the project management and operations team. Working closely with fellow a Project Manager, aspiring Project Managers, and the Hiring Manager, you will gain varied experience across Marketing, Supply Chain and all functions of the business.

Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: c.£45,000,

Benefits: Bonus up to 10% annually, Holidays: 25, Pension: 5% matched, Life Assurance, Private medical and other company benefits

Location: Manchester

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Working closely with the fellow Project Manager, Aspiring Project Managers, and the team lead, sharing best practices and progress at each stage of a project
  • Continue to develop the businesses approach to project working and their Project Office
  • Assisting the Head of the projects using the best project management tools and processes
  • Maintenance and collation of regular and ad-hoc reporting for resource utilisation, project status and KPIs as needed
  • Tracking projects to maintain a realistic status and priority, adapting to changing business priorities
  • Develop positive relationships across the Company to ensure communication is open and transparent, facilitating early identification of issues and risks and agile capitalisation of business opportunities
  • Maintain policies, processes, procedures, and compliance at all times
    Delivering a minimum of 2 initiatives each year while staying aligned to annual objectives, supporting the business affiliates in the pursuit of being more sustainable

Required Experience:

  • You will need to have previous proven experience within Project Management
  • Pharmaceutical experience is essential
  • Ability to build excellent relationships and networks
  • A methodical, solutions-focused, and results-driven attitude
  • Ability to take initiative, setting high personal standards and comfortability with risk
  • Proven successful project planning and management skills
  • A motivational and compelling communicator who can drive the team forward, effectively managing customer expectations and building strategic relationships with clients
