Quality Assurance Officer; GMP / GDP

Berkshire

£30,000 salary

If you’ve got a good grounding in pharma GMP and or GDP quality assurance and you’d like to know about a great development opportunity with a company who are really on the move we’d love to hear from you.

We’re working with a specialist life science industry service provider.  Historically they’ve been focused on the provision of clinical trials supplies services and have more recently been enjoying great success in building on that.  With additional offerings in packaging and labelling services as well as exciting new ventures in offering managed / early access services this company is enjoying significant, sustained growth.  They’re also enjoying success in international expansions with two sites outside of the UK.

You’d be working as part of a small, specialised QA team whose main focus is on GMP and GDP.  There are 2 existing RPs in the business and we’re looking for someone who can join the team to ensure that as the company grows they do so adhering to the highest standards of quality.

While the role would certainly involve the more transactional aspects of QA such as supporting goods in / goods out processes and overseeing warehouse operations from a QA perspective there would be opportunities to get involved in more technical and strategic work.  This might mean supporting the head of QA with inspections, developing the quality management system and writing, reviewing and updating SOPs.

We’re looking for someone bright, adaptable and keen to grow as the business does.

You’ll come from the following background

  • Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance is an absolute must.  This is not an opportunity for someone to cross train into pharma from another industry sector.
  • Similarly GMP and GDP experience is needed though we’re looking for someone with a grounding rather than an existing technical expert.
  • You’ll have an outstanding attention to detail
  • And you’ll be happy to take on a wide variety of tasks within QA as the company and role grows.

What our client offers is a great opportunity to enjoy a business that’s flourishing and a team that’s growing.  You’ll have great opportunities to learn new skills and more responsibility.  Due to the size of the team you can expect to be responsible for tasks that you’d rarely get the opportunity to get involved with in big pharma.

If you meet the requirements and you’d like to know more we’d love to hear from you.
