Role: PPC Executive
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 plus bonus and benefits.

When you looking for something new, you’re not just looking at what that employer and opportunity can do for you. You’re also likely thinking “What will having that employer brand on my CV do for my next move?” too.

So if you’re the kind of person who hates being pro-actively approached by firms via Linkedin for the promise of bigger, better opportunities because of the power of your current employer’s brand. You’ll probably want to stop here and move onto the next advert.

As this firm is recognised as being at the pinnacle of paid search excellence. Which puts them straight to the top of many a headhunter’s list of firms to poach from.

They’re a multi-billion Pound B2C digital platform business with global presence, and one of the very small number of players who dominate the UK market in this particular space.

They have some of the biggest budget campaigns, competing in a highly competitive environment and with a brand profile and visibility enjoyed by only those who have achieved elite status.

The Role:

The company doesn’t rely on agencies and manage all campaigns in-house. So you can expect this to be a very hands-on role.

Campaigns will include feed based campaigns, and get involved with dealing with broad match keyword campaigns, audience and bid strategy. There’s going to be a lot of complexity, as this company has one of the biggest PPC media spends going.

Due to the scale of campaigns, you will looking at utilising optimisation and automation tools to help manage these. But will be hands-on delving into the data to pick apart issues and look at ways of optimising performance further, or make adjustments to future campaign strategies.

You’ll be joining a team which is really a part of the bar setters for excellence in paid search marketing, in an industry which is fiercely contested by a small number of hard-hitting, high profile digital players.

  • PPC experience, dealing with campaigns of scale and complexity
  • Agency or client side experience are both welcome
  • Got to have a credible track record of performance behind you. Able to demonstrate this through metrics and delivery of results
  • Any knowledge of automation tools in this space would be beneficial
  • Sector experience which appeals includes – Travel, retail, gaming, telco, aggregator sites, supermarkets and other consumer facing digital first/digital platform firms
  • Good knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics
