Job Title: PR Manager – Travel Campaigns Location: London, twice a week – can flex working day between 8-10am start and 4-6pm finish, whether working from home or from office Salary: £33,000 to £43,000 (based on experience) Benefits: 75% discount on train tickets, pension, healthcare, etc. Term: 12 month fixed term, highly likely to go permanent The role: You’ll be joining the marketing function of a UK travel company, responsible for creating and executing national consumer campaigns to raise their public profile and promote the benefits of their services. This is really the fun side of PR work. Coming up with experiential or stunt ideas which can also use celebrity ambassadors which resonate with the kind of audiences you’re looking to get in front of, and result in campaigns which will gain media exposure and inject excitement to these promotions. Creative thinking begins with identifying the target audience pain points or points of tension which could create an opportunity to target a promotion at. For example, working from home leading to people not taking so much booked holiday from work. Then coming up with ideas and angles to take when creating a PR campaign to promote the benefit and excitement of down time and de-stressing. Aims of each campaign will be to gain maximum media exposure with relevant audiences which in turn raises bookings, footfall and other measurable and meaningful elements. You will be working within a small team, reporting to a Snr Manager and Head of Marketing, working alongside a Social Media Manager, Campaign Manager and Content Manager. In addition there’s also a PR agency who you’ll be briefing projects to and managing campaigns with. The role is funded for 12 months as part of the creation of this new UK focused team. Expectations are this will be renewed next year and the role transitions across to permanent. Experience needed Experience gained from either agency or client side in a PR campaign environment Able to showcase and example the campaigns you’ve handled, budgets managed and describe the outcomes and results Proactive by nature, collaborative and happy working independently on campaigns sometimes Want to Apply?
