Job: Principle Medical Writer

Salary: Up to £65,000 

Location London, Manchester, Chester - Hybrid or Fully remote

They provide a broad range of MedComms solutions from education materials to communication strategy, publications, and scientific writing to medical information.

What the job is.

Working in tandem with the scientific team leader you’ll act as lead writer on a number of accounts ensuring strategic advice and tactical delivery of medical communications that satisfy client needs in terms of quality, commercial focus, timing and cost.
This will include mentoring junior staff, contributing to project delivery, business planning, account reviews and brainstorming meetings, and more.

The minimum requirement for applicants.

  • Degree in life science or equivalent experience
  • Proven writing experience >4 in a medical communications agency or within the pharmaceutical industry. (I’m afraid academic experience will not apply here)
  • Highly computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience in client liaison and interaction for >4 years or equivalent, including client visits and on-site experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to coach/mentor writers
