With the cost of living crisis, many retailers are wondering what direction to take in order to remain relevant to the consumer and meet the challenges of a fast evolving landscape.

That’s where this business comes in. For over a century they’ve been a source of insight, information, reform and support for the industry.

One of their revenue streams is a data and insight platform. It’s this platform you’ll be responsible for shaping the roadmap of development for.

Sitting behind the platform is an analytics and insight engine. One which can provide automated reporting, insights, industry benchmarking and forecasting solutions at both a customer and market level.

You will be responsible for defining, prioritising and managing the feature backlog of the platform’s development.

You will be client facing, often meeting with big retail clients and their leadership teams, understanding their challenges and how needs might be evolving for insight and data resource. Working in partnership with the data and analytics team to scope out what’s achievable and creating the business case for their development.

Overseeing the development phases, working with project teams to take it through development and testing phases into the live environment.

You will also be responsible for updating user journey support. So this can be delivered to clients and users in the form of training or guidance documents. So they understand how to access and get the best out of the product and the data insights it provides to their businesses.

About the company

The business you’ll be joining has been around for over a hundred years. They’re very well established with a great deal of heritage and positive reputation for their services to the retail industry.
