Role: Product Marketing Manager
Location
: Central London. Likely 2 days from office per week.
Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 plus benefits

Turning features into benefits and making the customer not only ‘get it’ but ‘love it’.

That’s the headline for this role. A mission statement which sounds simple, but has a lot of complexity under the hood.

This is MarTech, providing a tool for marketers which supports automation of complicated, technical processes and removes the opportunity for human error.

Their customers are companies with massive ecommerce estates. We’re talking millions of pages, all needing constant updates, tweaks and changes. With scale like that, it’s no wonder mistakes can happen from time to time. Their tech helps prevent it, and in turn saves companies millions each year.

As the Product Marketing lead, you’ll be reporting to the company’s CMO and be responsible for everything end to end. Strategy, and delivery. To internal and external audiences.

Creating the GTM plans, being the face of the product within their target community in things like webinars with industry thought leaders. As well as handling all collateral, tutorials, how-to’s, sales decks, product guides, onboarding materials, etc. etc.

You’ll be creating the sales enablement pieces, and really bringing to life the benefits of the product and its features, so the sales teams have a really sharp, clear understanding of how to take this to customers and drive the sale.

There’s one other thing to highlight about this opportunity. The business, whilst well established, is very much a pacey scale-up. It’s the kind of environment where you’ll need to be happy mucking in to get things done, and because of the industry they’re in, things move fast. So you can expect fast decision making and quick action.

This isn’t the kind of place where you’ll spend all day in meetings talking about doing, and not have time to actually do. They fully embrace the move fast and break things kind of mentality.

What experience you need to demonstrate:

  • A background in Product Marketing from a B2B software / SaaS industries
  • Broad marketing pedigree which should include value proposition development, messaging, being the voice of the customer, go to market planning and campaign execution
  • The ability to demonstrate results and successes you’ve achieved
  • Able to take a complex technology and turn it into simple, compelling messaging
  • High level strategic thinker
  • Ability to work with partners on joint marketing efforts
  • Love fast-paced industries and environments
