Role: Propositions Manager – Consumer Broadband
Central London
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 (based on experience)
Benefits: 10% on target bonus, 10% employer pension, 25 days leave, 10x DIS life assurance and lots more.

Can broadband be exciting?

Given the maturity of the market, it’s easy to think there’s nothing new to offer. Other than greater speed, stability and a cheaper price.

What we’re looking for is a creative thinker. Someone who can take consumer frustrations, blend them with technological innovations and changing consumer behaviours in digital technologies and data consumption, combining them with added value services like security solutions, in order to come up with compelling new propositions – all wrapped up with a fantastic customer experience.

Despite already having significant market share of the UK broadband marketplace, the firm you will be joining has big ambitions for driving continued success and growth, sparked by an ever increasing demand for a faster, better, more secure, more connected world.

They’re already in millions of UK households, but recognise green field space they’ve not explored yet and appreciate, with the right proposition portfolio, one which connects to specific customer needs, they can achieve more.

Whilst broadband will be the core product, you will be marrying customer need with commercial opportunity. Developing and bringing to market new customer propositions, which includes added value services and slick self-service capabilities, deciding the appropriate price point and connected customer experience in order to grow market share.

This will be a big opportunity to show what you’re made of. To take control of the cornerstone of such a big brand’s key income stream. To think outside the box and reinvent how broadband is packaged up and sold to UK consumers. To really get under the skin of what will drive a customers to leave an existing provider and choose you instead. To reinvent broadband propositions.


  • Proposition development experience – putting the customer at the centre of thinking and coming up with clever ideas which connect to those needs and interests.
  • Able to evidence how you’ve thought broader and creatively to come up with proposition ideas
  • You’ve gained experience in the above within a consumer facing service industry ideally – e.g. telco, utility, financial services
  • Track record of initial idea creation through to delivery
