Qualified Accountant – Tax and Trust Assistant Manager

A highly regarded law firm with a history spanning across 250 years is looking to add a qualified accountant to their team to fulfil the position of Tax and Trust Assistant Manager. This firm are a Legal 500 and Chambers recognised law firm, who have also been listed in ‘The Lawyer 200’.

 

The role of Tax and Trust Assistant Manager will sit in the firm’s Private Client team and will assistant fee-earners and other support staff in the team with client’s tax, trusts and financial affairs. This will have the successful applicant working with a broad range of individuals at different levels and assisting on an already extensive and varied client base.

The central duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Dealing with inheritance tax forms and other documentation required for trusts
  • Assisting tax and trust managers and other individuals within the team
  • Dealing with tax return preparation, accounts and any other necessities to ensure trust compliance

 

The successful applicant will be expected to withhold the following abilities:

  • Advanced IT skills
  • Knowledge of CCH Personal Tax and Trust Accounts
  • Experience dealing with charitable organisations
  • Experience dealing with Landed Estates
  • A broad knowledge of varied tax matters
  • Preferably holding an ACA qualification with experience in the field

 

 

Location: London
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
