So you’ve followed Martin Lewis’ advice and called in to talk about your broadband package the month before your offer ends. You don’t want to pay the price increase and you recognise there’s better deals out there for new customers.

Next thing you know, you’ve signed up for 4x faster broadband, Netflix and an extra mobile sim card thrown in for free, just for good measure. But the deal was too good to turn down… all that extra, for just a couple of quid more a month. How could you refuse?

That’s the beauty of next best action. Ensuring right offer, to right customer at right time.

That’s also the sweet spot for this opportunity. With you helping to build and maintain an automated logic engine for inbound and digital channel next best action/real-time marketing.

A series of sophisticated decision tree models which result in providing offer recommendations to customers built using both SQL and Pega. One which is constantly being refined and updated with different commercial offers based on customer interests, competitor actions and strategic as well as tactical initiatives.

You likely enjoy handling projects which sit within the design stage - translating business requirements and campaign briefs into decisioning logic which adapts and modifies offer outcomes. Working with decisioning application software (Pega), coding and customising the logic engine, performing the appropriate quality assurance checks to ensure the logic gates all work correctly before being deployed into the live campaign environment.

This is a firm with a massive CRM operation which drives significant revenues for the firm. It’s also a pretty significant decisioning team too, in excess of 100 people. Working with a customer base of over 30m customers and a complex array of products and services.

To give an idea of scale, the firm has circa 4m customer interactions a week across channels. So you’ll be hard pushed to find another UK firm with this kind of scale and sophistication. So if you’re looking to build your career within a technical CRM space, this will be a great one to look at.

Additional training provided

They recognise Pega is a relatively niche tool in the UK, so the firm is prepared to offer formal training support.
