Here's a short video explaining at bit more about the role and our team: https://youtu.be/KVQFcype48g

About You

- You know a bit about the data industry too – perhaps you’ve recruited a fair bit in your time and know your analytics from your data science, data management from data engineering and what AI, NLP, ML, GCP, AWS and Azure is all about.

- You've trained, developed and nurtured recruiters before and know what makes a successful consultant, as you've been one yourself

- Charismatic, a real people person and see strangers as friends you just haven’t met yet.

- Not afraid to put yourself out there, and just because someone has a fancy title, it doesn’t stop you picking up the phone and speaking with them like a peer.

- A growth machine and are never happier than when you’re chasing down objectives and exceeding them.

- Smart and savvy. You know a how to shape a good deal and can spot the win-win in often complex negotiations with lots of potentially moving parts.

- You recognise the value of being a team player in how the sum of its parts can become greater than the whole, and can lead, inspire and grow a team of your own.

If this accurately describes you, what’s this role all about?

THE ROLE

Our data recruitment unit has always been one of our most successful. It’s been around since the company’s inception some 20 years ago and has a significant client roster because of it.

We’ve recently restructured how this team operates and are evolving the roles within to become more 180 aligned.

You’ll be leading a team who principally deliver to client requirements and will be responsible for defining its strategy for growth, feeding into the Divisional Head who you’ll report to.

Your role is all about growth, and eventually will likely move to be really focused on new business strategies. Either from growing value within existing clients, or looking at lead generation and conversion from prospects.

You’ll also be taking lead on client engagement, and be the escalation point in team for anything complicated or outside of your team’s knowledge area.

You’ll have latitude to drop into delivery if you want to. Perhaps you land a particularly meaty CDO role and use the opportunity to network with some business leaders and open a few new doors off the back of it.

Or you may decide your time and efforts to get your team to the desired results is better spent away from delivery and focusing on client strategy. The choice is up to you.

Ultimately your measures of success will be around your team’s performance. So whatever you choose to take on day-to-day, this will be your end goal.

The ambition is for your team to scale quickly in response to the ever-growing client demand generated.

Currently they support principally marketing centric data briefs, including customer analytics and insight, research, data science, media analytics and digital analytics. As well as a good footing in the data management, governance and data engineering space too.

You will be pretty much sector agnostic and able to hunt down and convert business from almost any vertical market which has a demand for data talent, and there’s a lot out there.

We have an upstanding reputation in this industry, and such a deep pool of outstanding data talent known to us. So opening doors shouldn’t be difficult. So long as you take the right approach and are able to come across as credible with prospects.

Sounds exciting, right?
