Residential Property Paralegal
Brighton
 
This Legal 500 firm with offices across London and the South East are looking for a Residential Property/Real Estate Paralegal to join their busy office in Brighton. This firm are known throughout the country to provide the highest level of service to their clients and for those efforts they have been acknowledged by some of the UK’s leading legal bodies.
 
The successful applicant MUST have experience working in a property team of a legal firm in a Paralegal or Legal Assistant capacity.
 
Some of the central duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Communicating with clients in person, over the phone and over email.
  • Taking charge of cases in the fee earners absence.
  • Dealing with incoming client queries.
  • Completing stamp duty land tax returns.
  • Dealing with and undertaking property registrations.
  • Drafting reports on title.
  • Assisting with property acquisitions and sales.
  • Ensuring confidentiality standards are consistently met.
  • Arranging meetings and appointments, as well as maintaining an up-to-date diary for their fee earner.
  • Attending to clients both in person and over the phone.
  • Dealing with property registration and post completion work, as well as preparing AP1s.
  • Preparing and tidying conference rooms for meetings..
  • Speaking directly with lessees and with agents.
  • Preparation and sorting of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Undertaking completion formalities – this includes preparation of completion statements.
 
Location – Brighton
Salary – c.£25,000 depending on experience
