Role: Sales Director - Adtech
Location: UK, London – role can be fully remote. But must be UK based.
Remuneration: +£100,000k base, plus commission, package and LTIPs

Question - What do video sites like Vimeo, Youtube, Twitch and DailyMotion all have in common?

Answer – An escalating problem with bots manipulating viewing algorithms and pushing up media and advertising costs for end brand owners.

Solution – A patented Adtech software tool which identifies and removes the bot views and fake clicks. But does so using Blockchain, so anyone can audit and review. Ensuring transparency in the process, so content creators, media publishing platforms and advertisers all have visibility.

Now picture yourself as the Sales Director for a company offering this solution.

A start-up whose SaaS platform has the ability to integrate with pretty much every video based media platform out there, who deliver adverts on behalf of third party brands as a revenue stream.

It’s a solution which will save brand owners trying to reach audiences billions of pounds each year. Removing the robotic eyes who will never buy anything from their costs. Improving their media spend, and doing so in a secure, transparent manner.

Providing a sophisticated payment management platform to manage their costs, which is also then used by the publishing sites to pay the content creators too.

It’s a billion pound business in the making. In fact, in just the last 3 months they’ve grown in value by 650%, and are looking for you to help them take the next step in their path to achieving this goal.

The Role

Because of the nature of the business and their growth stage, the company is looking for you to be able to bring an already credible knowledge of the AdTech industry and a track record of sales delivery.

We’re talking end to end - from prospecting and lead generation, to structuring and negotiating the deals and doing the ‘sell’ part. Getting clients onboard with doing proof of use trials, then scaling up as they recognise the solution’s value.

But uniquely to many other roles, you’ll also be working with clients on the integration part too.

You’ll also be given the mandate to build your own team too, especially with the scale of ambition this company has. It’s going to be too much for you to do alone.

You’ll be able to work fully remote, but they recognise most of the target prospects will be London based, so having the ability to get there will be important.

With the unique value this solution represents to end brand owners and advertisers in tackling an escalating issue, you’re likely looking at the kind of opportunity which will really put you on the map. That is, if you have the drive, determination and know-how to be able to help the business achieve it’s ambitions of breaking that £1bn valuation.

Key Experience

  • Got to have senior exec level sales leadership experience within the AdTech industry
  • Able to demonstrate an impressive background in leading sales functions, selling adtech solutions to video and content based firms. Able to demonstrate a depth of knowledge of DSP’s and SSP’s as well as ad fraud companies (e.g. WhiteOps)
  • Able to do both the sell part and integration piece with clients
  • Demonstrable experience in building and leading sales functions in remote working set ups
