Job: Scientific Team Leader  

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Bonus

Location London, Manchester, or Chester - Hybrid

What the job is.

Reporting to the Scientific Services Director, you will be a key member of the UK Communications Leadership Team:
Making operational decisions and recommendations for the running of the agency.
Updating SOPs and training modules
Provide editorial advice to a wider editorial group, client services team, and management team.
Provide scientific advice and strategic market insight for accounts planning
Managing and developing a team of medical writers.


The minimum requirement for applicants.

  • Degree in life science or equivalent experience
  • Proven writing experience >4 in a medical communications agency or within the pharmaceutical industry. (I’m afraid academic experience will not apply here)
  • Highly computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience in client liaison and interaction for >4 years or equivalent, including client visits and on-site experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to coach/mentor writers
  • Management or supervisory experience.
