Role: Senior Cardiologist and Cardiac Safety Expert.

Location: Home based (more or less anywhere in Europe)

Salary: £170,000 - £200,000 + 25% bonus (US $275-$325K)

Your knowledge would be valued to provide consultancy on cardiac safety and regulatory strategies to a broad, global client base.  You’d be consulting to drug development companies of all sizes developing therapies across the entire span of disease areas.  As you’ll know failures in cardiac safety are the leading cause of trial failure.

This is perceived both internally and externally  as a highly senior role carrying a lot of authority and respect.  Your voice and expertise will make a significant difference to go/no go decisions for trials and how they’re run as well as having a significant impact on regulatory strategies as they pertain to cardiac safety.

So.

You’ll need to be a real expert

You’ll absolutely need to be a cardiologist

and

You’ll absolutely need to have a solid grounding in drug development gained in industry (i.e pharma / biotech/CRO as opposed to academia)
