Senior Data & Technology Consultant

LOCATION -     Remote/Central London


SALARY -        £70k - £80k plus benefits



This recognisable Media Agency is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Data Consultant, with strong knowledge of media and digital technology and data solutions (specifically paid media / programmatic).


As part of this globally recognized and award winning Digital Media Agency Group, you will join a small yet growing team of consultants, conducting initial discovery sessions with clients to understand their challenges and expectations, existing technology capabilities, and in turn design data strategies which enable them to meet their marketing objectives (often paid media / programmatic); identifying appropriate data sources, ensuring they have the appropriate capabilities and GDPR compliance processes in place, making recommendations for particular analytical projects and solutions.


Because you will set out the strategic vision for your clients, this role requires a level of technical understanding around how advertising and marketing platforms and systems within this ecosystem link together, and how analytical techniques can be leveraged, but is not a hands-on role.


We're looking for someone with the right depth knowledge around big data management and the strategic application of data within digital media, the aptitude for quick learning and the ability to interact with a business that requires learning and education around what the right solutions are - so you need to be comfortable with consulting on best practices and what is and is not possible from a database or cloud perspective in order to educate and consult with client effectively.


You should be able to story tell, bring data and its value to life for end clients, driving the development of data planning across clients and championing the use of data and technology to unlock value from their marketing channels and in turn customers and audiences.





  • Educated to degree level in a relevant and ideally in a numerate subject
  • You must have experience of working with digital media relevant martech and ad server technology
  • Experienced in building out data strategies and data led solutions for big brands within digital media environments
  • Ability to consult on how martech and adtech fit together and can be optimised from a data perspective
  • Strong communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced digital media agency environment
  • Excellent relationship building skills, as you will be facing into very senior levels of management for huge global brands
