Senior Data Strategist

** Multiple Clients **

 

This award winning integrated marketing agency is looking to bolster its Data Planning function with a Senior Data Strategist, to work across multiple accounts. The role will be working across a mixture of existing big brand business and new business wins.

 

You will have a strong background in leveraging and delivering value to loyalty programmes and CRM campaigns, through data planning, ensuring strategic coordination, delivery and planning of CRM insight and analysis activities - working towards delivering a truly aligned CRM vision.

 

You will need to be experienced in driving data strategy across all channels and touch points moving from traditional DM, email and SMS channels to a connected communications plan encompassing digital media including social, mobile and website.

 

Key knowledge and aptitudes required are:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Organization and management of own time and work load.
  • Passion for data strategy and using this creatively to drive targeted customer marketing.

 

You will likely get involved in delivering data selections for targeted marketing campaigns, helping to build segmentations and providing post campaign analysis.

You will support on building data driven CRM stages for large clients, helping them to improve their personalised marketing communications.

 

You will report into The Senior Data Strategy Director, a credible leader in data, with strong heritage in agency, who manages a team of 10 data strategists, delivering a variety of CRM data strategy projects. In addition to this, there is a further 5 data strategists solely working on another major account, making their combined overall data function the biggest in the industry. So, the opportunity for learning and development is huge, as well as the chance to diversify your skills working across multiple clients and projects.

 

POSITION –              Senior Data Strategist

LOCATION –            London

SALARY –                 £50k - £65k plus excellent benefits

 

 

Skills required;

  • Proven background in data planning / strategy from either client side or agency
  • CRM and loyalty experience seen as a huge benefit
  • Experience in multi-channel campaign planning
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems, processes and analytics platforms
  • Consumer direct marketing experience (database marketing / loyalty / CRM / acquisition and retention marketing
  • Superb communication, engagement and influencing skills in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands on knowledge of web analytics, data visualisation, data analysis (SAS) or social analytics tools would be hugely advantageous
