Senior Data Strategist - CONTRACT

 

This top London creative marketing agency is looking to bolster its Insights function with a Senior Data Strategist. You will need to be experienced as this role is a lead position guiding and mentoring more junior members of staff and leading on multiple big brand clients.

 

You will have a strong background in leveraging and delivering value to loyalty programmes and CRM campaigns, through data planning, ensuring strategic coordination, delivery and planning of CRM insight and analysis activities - working towards delivering a truly aligned CRM vision.

 

You will need to be experienced in driving data strategy across all channels and touch points moving from traditional DM, email and SMS channels to a connected communications plan encompassing digital media including social, mobile and website.

 

In addition, we are looking for someone who can work consultatively with end clients, from a higher business level, identifying their data needs as a business and working to shape data strategies around this; so beyond the traditional data planning piece, we do need someone who can act as an insights consultant to end clients, working to leverage data to ultimately improve targeted marketing, customer understanding and business performance.

 

Key knowledge and aptitudes required are:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Organization and management of own time and work load.
  • Passion for data strategy and using this to drive targeted customer marketing.

 

POSITION –              Senior Data Strategist - CONTRACT

LOCATION –            Remote

TERM -                      10 weeks, possibly more

RATE –                      £500 per day

 

 

Skills required;

  • Proven background in data strategy planning from either client side or agency
  • CRM and loyalty experience seen as a huge benefit
  • Experience in multi-channel campaign planning
  • Experience in consulting with clients from a broader business perspective, depending on their data capabilities, on how to leverage data
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems, processes and analytics platforms
  • Consumer direct marketing experience (database marketing / loyalty / CRM / acquisition and retention marketing
  • Superb communication, engagement and influencing skills in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands on knowledge of web analytics, data visualisation, data analysis, or social analytics tools would be hugely advantageous
