Senior Digital Analyst - Strategic Insights

We are working on behalf of one of the UK’s most desirable digital agencies to work for, given their heritage in data and analytics.

Working across a range of clients in luxury FMCG and luxury retail, providing pro-active strategic insights around digital campaign performance, answering broad business questions around digital marketing effectiveness and customer behaviour and interaction. A skill set which would be of particular interest would be performance marketing analytics, as there is a skill gap in the team around this, otherwise, you don’t necessarily have to have come from a maths and stats background, it’s more around the ability to tell a story around data and take a solutions focused approach using insights and analysis.

Technically they operate an agnostic environment, allowing Analysts to use whichever tools they see fit for the task in hand; typically R, python, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SQL, Adobe Tag Manager and GTM.

Position: Senior Digital Analyst – Strategic Insights

Location: Central London

Salary: £45k - £65k (depending on experience) plus excellent benefits

Experience and Skills required

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate or marketing related subject
  • Strong experience of providing analysis and insights around digital marketing and advertising campaign activity; ideally performance marketing (SEO, PPC, Display, Affiliates etc.)
  • Experience in writing tag specifications and tag implementation
  • Experience of working within a data intensive organization or marketing agency
  • Technical skills using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is essential, as well as some kind of tagging tools such as Google Tag Manager or Adobe Tag Manager
  • Additional skills using R or Python would be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
