Role: Senior Digital Analyst
Location: London, E2 offices. Twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Salary: Base up to £65k plus benefits

Why should you apply for this opportunity above similar digital analytics opportunities you’re seeing online?

  1. Variety, coupled with working with a range of purpose led brands. The opportunity to work across multiple industries, tackling different digital challenges by leveraging data and insight.
  2. You’ll be working with both the full Google data product suite, including GA4, GTM, Google Data Studio and Google Big Query, as well as Adobe Analytics tools too
  3. The environment is really collaborative, even down to the owners/directors who muck in and lend a hand when there’s opportunity to do so, or if someone needs a bit of support.
  4. The days you come to office you will have lunch provided. Similarly those days are for collaboration, workshops and important meetings. Leaving the rest of the week for you to focus on delivery.
  5. The focus is quality over quantity. This extends to everything… and includes decisions on what clients they have as well as the work they deliver. Why settle for mediocrity when you can win awards?

The unifying trait to your work will be you work with ecommerce businesses. Beyond that comes a journey of discovery.

To date, the company has had product managers and the directors handling digital analytics projects as they arise. But as the business is growing and they’re deepening their relationships with clients, those types of projects are common place. So it’s time to bring in an expert to own it.

You’ll be their digital analytics appointment and the start of a new team. This means you’ll need to evaluate what’s currently in place, and devising a roadmap of priorities.

The company you’ll be joining doesn’t just build websites. They also do feature development, migrations and updates.

Principally projects are adhoc in nature, providing clients with actionable insights around a range of topics or challenges related to their ecommerce estates. There’s also supporting projects for pitch work. But this is more aligned to providing the insights for the product management and new business team to deliver in meeting.

You will however, take lead on client engagement. Shaping briefs, handling project delivery and providing insights back in a digestible format for often non-technical teams to engage with.

Additionally, you’ll also likely see the opportunity to build your own team over time. Identifying what skills are needed, devising a roadmap for growth of the function around you. Which inevitably will also lead to your own professional development into a leadership role.

There’s lots going for this opportunity. The directors have aimed to create a place people will be proud to be part of. One that’s very professional and supportive, welcoming of new ideas and have an open door policy to anyone to sit down and discuss.

They’ve established a growth framework to support with career development, pay for professional courses if there’s something you want to learn and will further your professional growth in the company. They even provide a monthly budget for ‘wellness’ which you can use on a gym or other means to ensure you remain fit and healthy.
