Senior eCommerce Analyst

SALARY -              £48k plus benefits
LOCATION -        Remote / Central London



Representing our great capital city, London, this marketing agency is responsible for driving economic growth through tourism, business partnerships and supporting business growth through events and driving visitor attraction globally.


With Covid19 having an inevitable impact on the agency’s ability to hold events and conduct traditional marketing, they have pivoted their business strategy to focus on building the eCommerce proposition and marketing opportunity. Joining this brand new eCommerce team at a point of growth and investment, you will be visible and heard as the agency invests into their digital channels more than ever!

 

The key focus of this role is around driving acquisition and conversion through their eCommerce website, and other digital channels including Apps, social, paid and SEO.SEM. therefore a broad understanding of how digital marketing channels can be measured as well as honing in on driving traffic to the website is key. You will develop impactful and insightful recommendations for improvements around website performance, engagement and functionality, through the use of techniques such as segmentation, funnel analysis and reporting.

 

Technically you will need to have a strong understanding of the full Google stack, including Tag Manager, Analytics, Optimise and Datastudio.

 

You should be able to implement and manage full tracking frameworks using Google Tag Manager, set up A/B testing and build out your own reporting and data visualisations solutions for companywide stakeholders to communicate results. And naturally, this is a business facing position, with strong presentation, engagement and communication skills required as this team grows.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

  • Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject; numerate or marketing related
  • Experience as a Digital Analyst within an eCommerce environment is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of the full Google stack; including Tag Manager, Analytics, Optimise and Datastudio
  • Good understanding of statistical techniques, as well as digital analysis techniques such as segmentation and funnel analysis
  • Strong profile in A/B testing / multivariate testing for measuring and improving website and digital channel performance
  • Ability to bring insights and reports to life through engaging dashboards and visualisations, and presentations
