Role: Senior Insights Executive
Location: London office, but will be a hybrid home/office mix a few days a week
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 plus benefits

This is a mixed methodology opportunity, agency side within a team of four, working for what’s considered very much a ‘thinking agency’.

Work will cover on and offline studies, and the company currently has a bias of work leaning towards campaign evaluations and brand tracking.

There’s a ton of ambition behind this agency’s growth objectives, and this includes taking on a broader mix of studies from both existing clients. As well as going out and winning their own projects from clients exclusive of the broader agency’s offering which was centred around media.

Currently, around 80% of the studies are quant based. But as the company expands its range of offerings, qual studies will become a part of the mix. As the kind of projects you’ll end up working on cover a wide and diverse range of topics, including:

  • Creative testing and effectiveness
  • Proposition testing
  • Competitor Analysis
  • Audience segmentations
  • Customer profiling
  • Brand tracker studies

Also working on things which need you to go beyond just first party interrogations. Utilising tools such as TGI, YouGov and TelMar.

In addition, you won’t be doing all this stuff just for one business. You’ll be working with a wide variety of businesses and brands, including Automotive giants, cool FMCG brands, cutting edge Tech firms and loads more.

So it’s true to say you’re unlikely to find yourself getting bored and the project variety means this will never feel like a production line. As there’s going to be a ton of opportunities for developing new skills and knowledge.

About the business

If you’ve not already guessed, this is for an agency.

They’re actually a media agency who also happen to have really solid footing in the analytics space. Their in-house research team is a growing function with a lot of future opportunity on the horizon.

You’ll be helping with delivery of client projects, typically in partnership with another member of the team.

Plus because you’re there to lift some of the day-to-day load, you’ll be supporting the senior leadership team with freeing up their ability to drive the bigger picture opportunities for continuing to grow the company’s offering to new and existing clients.

The team, and this position, work across both primary and secondary source research data and it’s a pretty even split of handling both.

The team you’ll be joining are a really nice bunch. Subject matter experts who are very supportive and collaborative in how they approach client projects.

This is a new appointment to the team to support on a growing demand from clients for research insight.

About you

  • Looking for you to be able to demonstrate a well-rounded experience. Likely having come from a media or research agency background

  • Love variety of challenge, and are looking for an opportunity like this which will give you that
  • Have experience of the hands-on doing of research analysis
  • You have experience of handling projects end to end
