Senior Systems Analyst
Logistics / Stock systems / Requirements gathering / Project management / Jira / MS Applications
 
This fast-growing, award-winning, forward-thinking retailer has an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Systems Analyst to join the busy IT Team.
You will manage a range of technical projects, ensuring the systems remain robust and efficient. You will be responsible for delivering quality software solutions on time and within budget providing maximum business value.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Create and manage the development roadmap of the Logistics and Stock systems.
  • Ownership of the Logistics and Stock systems – ensuring that the systems remain robust and efficient with the development of all business projects affecting them, whilst maintaining overview of all other integrated systems.
  • Manage the resources of the development teams for the Logistics and Stock systems.
  • Manage and lead multiple technical development tasks using project delivery methodologies.
  • Responsible for the translation of business requirements and functional specifications into technical requirements that support integrated and sustainable designs for infrastructure systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership and input to project direction.
  • Support communication flow in matrix organization to ensure collaboration across project teams for efficient achievement of project goals.
  • Keep projects on track and within budget by overseeing the full project life cycle.
  • Develop technical solutions to problems faced by other departments, consistently looking to improve the system and workflow.
  • Monitor performance, trouble tracking and remediation for all issues.
  • Oversee Systems Analysts
Key Skills:
  • Effectively communicate with both users and technical staff.
  • Experience of using Microsoft applications.
  • Experience of using Jira.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic and reliable individual who can pick up new skills quickly and efficiently.
  • Good time management, ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in team leading and managing projects.
  • Good listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to take the initiative and own tasks.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
 
This role is based in Tunbridge Wells, however, due to the current Coronavirus pandemic will require flexibility and some working from home.
