Senior Technical Analyst

This Insurtech company have developed modern technology solutions for the automotive insurance sector. We now have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Analyst to join the expanding platform team! 

As the Senior Technical Analyst, you'll become a key player in optimising the development and deployment of their Insurance platform. The individual we seek will shoulder the responsibility of lending their technical prowess and analytical skills towards the design, execution, and upkeep of the platform. 

This is an important hire for the business as the role is instrumental in ensuring that the strategies for the platform align seamlessly with business objectives, through meticulous system requirements analysis and strategic recommendations. 

Experience:

• 7+ years of proven experience in a technical analyst role, with experience in platform requirements and analysis.
• Experience working with developers, designers and business analysts.
• While not mandatory, having experience in insurance or related industries will be beneficial.
• Proficiency in gathering business requirements and converting them into technical specifications.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum would be ideal.

Skills / Tools:

Data Analysis: Analysing data to identify trends, issues, or opportunities.
SQL: Database querying to extract and manipulate data.
Python: Helpful for deeper technical analysis.
Software Tools: Jira, Excel & Data Visualisation software to track tasks and present data.
API's: An understanding of how they integrate with different platforms.
Technical writing: Creating clear, concise technical documents.
Version Control: Systems like GIT for example to track changes in code or documentation. 

Hybrid working. 2-3 days working from home, the rest in the office which is based in Moorgate, London.
