Retail Insight Solutions Manager 
Research / Insight / Consumer Goods
£50,000 - £60,000 + £5k Car Allowance + Package

This is an exciting newly created role within this leading Insight Solutions team. The company are a global research firm who specialise in the grocery/consumer goods industry. We're looking for someone who can design and deliver retail insight projects that support the business plan, generating profitable growth. Responsibility for delivery of retail insights products includes project design, project management, research, insight generation and customer facilitation.

In this varied role you could be working with a new food producer who wants to understand how to best take their fresh products to market or a European supermarket giant wanting to understand the best food to go strategies for profitability, sustainability, waste reduction etc. The clients you'll work with will be of all shapes and sizes from global giants to start ups. The team work internationally but the vast majority of work is UK and Europe. 

Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of Retail Solutions projects
• Creating content and delivery of Retail Solutions projects as well as projects requiring additional research beyond data available in house, in a form of presentations or workshops including facilitation that utilises knowledge & experience in retail research and insight
• Ownership of projects, writing proposals, internal and external stakeholder management, ensuring capability and capacity to deliver excellent projects for customers in the UK and internationally 
• Identify and co-create relevant Solutions projects
• Extensive collaboration required to identify opportunities and create Solution propositions 
• Co-creation and delivery of Solutions 
• Support ongoing product innovation (IP Creation), especially through developing products and approaches that are unique

Knowledge, Experience:

• Experience with the global consumer goods industry, ideally gained in international retail insight roles
• Strong research skills to gather insights 
• Understanding of the commercial interface between retailers & manufacturers
• Able to create profitable Retail Solutions products with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer first mind set
• Excellent project management skills, including ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Strong facilitation skills to steer conversations in workshops
• Credible at Director and senior management level with strong influencing capability
• Able to travel internationally (Europe)

Flexible working, 1-2 days in the office per week. The rest from home. Office is based near Watford.
