Tools Support Manager

Up to £37,000 p/a

We are looking for a Software Manager to join this global media agency network of almost 10,000 people across 86 countries. The company are united by their desire to create new media experiences for their clients and their consumers and they have fun whilst doing it.
 
This role requires a maths based degree and for you to have an interest in marketing topics, along with a desire to learn about methods of analysing communication and the techniques of media planning. Interaction with global teams is a crucial aspect to this role, the tools manager is the champion for the use of advanced techniques in creating media plans.
 
Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Head of Tool Development and the Product Director you will...
  • Advise local, Worldwide and regional teams in the best approach to using their tools
  • Deliver technical training, online, to global teams. 
  • Liaise with the Tech team regarding testing, documentation and implementation of requirements 
  • Customer support point for internal queries
  • Development of user guides, case studies and presentation material
Knowledge & attributes:
  • Media Planning and/or Media Buying experience would be ideal
  • Degree in Economics, Math, Statistics (or highly numerate science subjects)
  • Willingness to learn, in detail, the companies tools and solutions
  • Willingness to learn about marketing effectiveness 
  • Awareness of legal and data protection issues  
  • Methodical and logical with a good eye for detail
  • Previous experience with the installation of software tools 
  • Experience configuring software to user's needs
  • Experience with Business Planning Software and tools.
