Account Relationship Management Professional

MUST HAVE Customer Facing Life Sciences Experience – Preferably Clinical Trials

~$80,000 + Commission Structure

East Coast location preferred but must be US Based Preferred

We’re working with a very well established, niche life science business who combine a strong, stable heritage with an innovative and smart approach to growth. While they’ve been operating for over a decade they still have that entrepreneurial, start-up feel due to the diversity of services and new markets they approach.

You'll be a client facing Account Manager with outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to build lasting relationships with you customers. It is paramount that you are able to overcome objection and rebuttal while understanding the reasons for this and how you can provide a solution to the needs of your customers, continuing a positive relationship and continuous service provision.

This role is the "farming" of the relationships you'll be responsible for and focused on maintaining consistency in the services and products provided. While managing these clients there will be opportunities to build on the services provided and while this isn't a role with BD expectations, being able to recognise the opportunity to increase your service offerings would be expected.

Your experience will ideally be from a CRO or Clinical Trial Service provider, either Comparator Sourcing or Clinical Trial supplies. This is an essential part of the role and will be reviewed closely to make sure the profiles screened and submitted are meeting the expectations of our client.

You'll be based predominantly from home. You’ll need to be East Coast based as this is closer to the office, majority of client sites and accommodating the time zone differences. To be successful in this role you'll need to be an enthusiastic and driven individual who thrives on challenges and being able to problem solve. Working in a position where rejection and rebuttal is common, a thick skin and positive outlook is required to keep moral and momentum high. While you will not be directly responsible for a team of individuals it is important that you are a team player, understand the importance of working collaboratively and be able to support a number of other business units when providing services to clients.
