Azure Strategic Architect and Application Lead (Remote)

Role: Azure Strategic Architect and Lead

Salary: £78,000- £95,000 DOE + Comprehensive benefits package

Location: Remote- Some travel to customer sites required

Role:  The company are looking to expand on their current success by investing to grow their Cloud Solutions Capability and offering independent Azure Services. As a senior member of the Azure cloud solutions capability, you will play a key role in setting up the team and contributing toward its strategic direction.

You will use your industry experience and connections to help develop the brand within the market and establish new market propositions. On top of this you will be taking a lead on transformation projects, architecting application designs and establishing good methodology and Development practices throughout the team.

Requirements:

  • 10 years’ development Experience, preferably focused on Cloud-Native Apps
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments
  • Relevant Microsoft Certificates
  • Strong skills needed in: Project Planning, creating Cloud-Native App designs, presenting Azure Architecture and managing delivery projects.
  • IT Skills needed: .Net, C#, Azure, WebAPI, App development (Angular, React, Blazor), Unit Testing and mocking frameworks, Azure SQL, NoSQL and Git.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles (CI/CD, TDD, Application Security, Automation and Quality)
  • Team player and management skills as well as excellent communication skills required.
