I’m working with an AI-focused Fintech based in London who is looking to add a Content Strategist to their marketing team, this is a new addition to the team. As the company has grown into a global player in the AI space they have decided to appoint a Content Marketer to build the content strategy rather than it being part of the Chief Product Manager’s remit.

They had a record-breaking 2023 as AI boomed and they landed several major global clients. 2024 is focused on growing their customer base on a global basis, they are currently working with multiple clients across the UK, EU, US and South America. This role will be responsible for leading the content marketing strategy globally. This role will have a broad remit and cover all aspects of Content including whitepapers, round table commentary to social posts. As they focus on growing their customer base they need to make sure customers experience the brand in the right way so this role is of critical importance.

The brand is a well-established player in the AI world, over the last couple of years, they have developed a loyal customer base who engages with them and their content and have been held up as a leader in AI space..

The role is going to the champion of content within the function and be the day-to-day manager of content output for the team, as they continue to focus on expansion you will work with the CMO and CPO to support Marketing activities and create a best-in class content marketing function

Outside of the day-to-day management of content, the role will also have the opportunity to get involved with wider marketing and ABM. They have created a new team structure which will enable them to build teams beneath the leadership team.

The role is based in London and will be required to be in the office three days a week for team-related collaboration.

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead the Content Strategy
  • Create a raft of content for marketing and supporting the sales journey
  • Working with the CMO & CPO to build marketing strategies with content at the heart.
  • Review & approve marketing content produced both internally and via an agency
  • Pragmatically approach projects to ensure both creative and business needs are met.
  • Keeping project stakeholders well briefed on current timings, status and potential issues.
  • Instigate & lead project kickoff meetings with stakeholders to highlight the value of content across the business.


The Content Strategist role requires the following experience: 

  • An outstanding experience in Content Marketing
  • Ideally a background in journalism eiather Professionally or in Education
  • Experience creating content for AI, Big Data or Technolgy
  • Experience working in a start-up or low bureaucracy business environment
  • Ideally a bit of Nerd – someone who lives and breaths Tech & Content
  • Experience working in a consulative not combative business environment would be beneficial.
