Role: Copywriter & Content Producer
Location
: UK remote until September – then either London or Brighton
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (based on experience) plus benefits

How many people might you know who, over the last year as there was nowhere they could go, took up a course in something as a means to keep their mind off the fact they couldn’t jump on a plane and travel somewhere?

2020 scaled Ed-tech industry revenues massively, as schools and Universities across the world adapted for home and remote learning.

For many in this field, expectations are for more digitally blended offerings to remain a much better embedded part of the education eco-system going forward too because of this.

The company you’ll be joining isn’t just ‘in’ this field. But are an internationally key player in the space.

The team you’ll be joining are a bunch of digitally native copy and content producers. Creating both long and short-form copy for marketing campaigns, blogs, email copy, microsites, product information and sales copy.

It’s principally used by the company’s partners across each of their digital estates, each of whom are major Universities and further education establishments. Used to drive awareness, interest and inform international students of the benefits of these courses, and drive the enrolment funnel.

As content is on behalf of third party brands, styles need conform to each, and sometimes they can be very different based on the type of partner you’re producing for.

So it’s really important you’re able to adapt your style based on brand guidelines, adapting tone of voice accordingly.

You’ll also be given access to the CMS in order to upload and publish materials.

In addition will be the need to review existing content to ensure it’s up to date, fit for purpose and accurate. So alongside the creating part will be an editorial aspect to this opportunity.

The digital estate overall is huge, as such is the type of content you’ll be creating. At it’s core it’s all themed around education, but because of the diversity of their partners, you’ll find the work will offer a lot of variety of challenge.

Key Experience Necessary

  • Digitally native copywriter/copy producer and have a portfolio of work which covers a diverse range of long and short-form copy for businesses
  • Any experience creating copy to connect with youth/student populations is beneficial
  • Able to demonstrate an adaptable writing style to confirm to brand TOV’s
  • Good understanding of SEO principals and how to apply them to digital copy

Must be able to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
