Corporate Commercial Legal Secretary
West Kent


This high-performing and hard-hitting law firm have multiple offices across the South East, including their beautiful head-office in a great West Kent location. With many Legal 500 listings over the firm’s offices it is easy to see how successful and monumental this legal firm is in the UK. This firm have also been recognised in The Lawyer 200 and by Chambers and Partners. This impressive firm works alongside extremely high-net-worth private and commercial clients, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on work/life balance and flexibility for their staff.

This role is perfect for someone who has experience as a legal secretary in the corporate or commercial sectors. The firm are really striving to find someone who is forward thinking and who is a problem solver. Meaning, someone who is always thinking about how to make changes to better the team or the firm and helping to implement these changes. The commercial team are also looking for a person who is happy to take some of the administration-based work off the fee-earners hands, allowing them to dedicate more time to their caseloads.

The commercial team at this firm are hard-working and deal with a lot of high-net-worth clients, although they are still a fun and social team to be a part of. Some of the duties the successful candidate will take on in this secretarial role include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of fee-earners and own diary – including booking meetings and calls
  • Dealing with and managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining client details on the firm’s case management system
  • Production of necessary documents on behalf of the fee earners within the team
  • Communicating with clients and other people within the firm, both over email and over the phone
  • Supporting fee-earners in aspects of their Business Development activities, this could include attending Business Development events


*PLEASE NOTE: the firm are happy to look at a mixture of in office and at home working, although the successful candidate must be available to work in the office a minimum of three days per week

 

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 (DOE)
Benefits include: 5% bonus if the firm hits overall profit target, 25 days of holiday with ability to buy/sell/carry over and a lot of learning and development opportunities – amongst many other benefits
