Role:                     Digital Product Manager - AdTech
Location:             Central Manchester offices, likely 2 days a week
Salary:                  Up to £65,000 basic plus benefits

This is the crossroads where Digital Marketing meets Artificial Intelligence. A new series of software tools designed with the small business in mind.

Helping remove the barriers for businesses wanting to trade in a digital economy, but who don’t have the knowledge or skills to do so.

Demystifying digital advertising through the clever use of AI and data to do most of the heavy lifting automatically.

Essentially giving them the ability to set up, run and optimise paid media campaigns without needing the raft of technical knowledge usually required to make those things happen.

As the Product Manager, you will be managing in-life development of one of the company’s digital advertising solutions.

Developing user stories, looking at user flows and experience, feature roadmap and managing the backlog and its development. Handling the testing and roll out, squashing bugs which might arise by putting the issues into the development team’s radar to be dealt with.

As you might expect, this is an Agile environment and you’ll be working in the typical sprint fashion.

Then for any product releases, you’ll be overseeing the development of product content to showcase changes and new features to the customer base. As well as working with the marketing team on how to promote these features as benefits and solutions to target audiences.

Taking learnings from customer feedback on areas for improvement, or new features the customer base is crying out for, as well as market trends which the product needs to adapt to in order to continue to meet the future needs of customers too.

In addition, there will be times developments and new integrations will be delivered in conjunction with third parties. Particularly when considering the need to integrate this solution into all major media platforms across paid social, PPC and display platforms.

The key to success is maintaining a customer centric strategy for the product. So new product features meet the evolving needs of customers and represents a compelling solution which helps them achieve their objectives, in an ergonomic, elegant and simple manner.

Also that the product is structured in such a way it suits a good variety of business needs. From firms just starting out their journey into digital adverting, right through to those already savvy and are looking for a solution which will help up their game and deliver improved results. With a range of feature rich and tiered plans to suit those differing customer needs.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Past experience within a MarTech, AdTech or experience with a DSP
  • Have experience in managing a product roadmap for a digital product, dealing with bugs, evolving a product based on customer needs. Improving features and functions, etc.
  • Good commercial skills, evaluating and deciding product strategy and pricing
  • Great understanding of how to use insight in helping to inform and shape business decisions. Build business cases and deliver outcomes which meet customer needs
