Overview of the role

If you’re an experienced logistics professional looking for your next challenge and would like to an ever-growing exciting pharmaceutical company, we’d love to hear from you. Our partner is looking for someone to support the logistics operations to join their busy and growing team.  This role would be supporting the logistics operations to ensure transportation from suppliers to the company and then distributed to their customers. This position would be responsible for making sure that each shipment reaches the customer on time, includes the correct invoices and shipment details and has complied with country requirements.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Ensuring temperature controls are employed in all necessary shipments
• Keeping the logistics system up to date including inventory management
• Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met
• Preparing invoices ready for products to be distributed
• Managing shipments and maintain contact with couriers
• Engagement with suppliers and clients to ensure deliveries are on time

Requirements of the role include:

• Experience in a Logistics Operations role
• Fluent in German and English
• Experienced in the use of logistics databases and stock control systems
• Adaptable to the understanding and implementation of new technologies
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a quick paced high pressure environment
