Employment Solicitor - Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Dynamic award winning firm in Kent are currently looking to expand their employment law department by recruiting an additional solicitor or legal executive. 

This is a rare opportunity to join a refreshingly different firm who don't believe in setting billings or chargeable hour targets and in this way the firm and this role operate more like an in-house position but you will be acting for more than one client.  Essentially you will act as in-house legal counsel to your clients, liaising with their legal and HR departments, which will sometimes involve visits to their offices.

The work involves a variety of employment law matters from advising on redundancies, TUPE, IR35, settlement agreements and injunctions etc...  The work is commercially focussed and therefore you will be acting almost solely for the employer and although the role involves a mix of non-contentious and contentious work, the emphasis will be on non-contentious and advisory matters.  

This is a junior to mid level position and therefore applications are welcome from lawyers with up to 5 years PQE.  NQ solicitors will be considered but you must have covered an employment law seat (at least 6 months) during your training contract and you will show true enthusiasm for specialising in this area of law.  

This is a full time position but applications are also welcome from those wanting to work 4 days per week.  It is based in Tunbridge Wells in Kent but a mix of office based and home working is very welcome.
