Infrastructure Architect (Azure)

South Essex

An opportunity has arisen to take the lead on Infrastructure and Cloud design for well known retail company with head quarters in Essex and offices throughout Europe.

The company are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join their well-established team. You will be acting as the technical design authority on both their on premise and cloud based infrastructure as well as supporting the rest of the Infra team with escalations.

You will be the only person responsible for design within the business and you will report into the Head of Infrastructure and Support. You will have no direct reports as this is technical role not a managerial position.

The company maintain a family feel with a real team spirit. They have a hybrid working policy with three days a week in the office and two days working from home.

Salaries up to £80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud
• Design, support and administration of experience of  MS Exchange server
• Design, Support and administration of Windows server both on premise and in the cloud
• Good knowledge of Networking
• Server Hardware configuration and build both on premise and in the cloud.
• Powershell scripting skills
• Excellent communication
