Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Specialist– Pharmaceutical Industry

 Overview:

The purpose of this role is to support marketing teams in the delivery of brand strategy and addressing business objectives. The chosen candidate will manage all aspects of the Market Research process and projects and will ensure that specific business questions are answered. They will also inform decision making and offer insight. Working with the competitive intelligence team to develop processes to enable teams to evaluate and coordinate knowledge. To be a key member of the Business Development and strategic planning process.

Job Title: Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Specialist

Salary: ~£45,000 (guide salary only)

Benefits: 10% Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, 28 days holiday allowance

Location: Manchester

Market Research Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management process
  • Maintain quality research materials
  • Management of all market research materials in Promomats
  • Point of contact for key internal stakeholders so that project process is followed
  • Work in conjunction with Corporate Market Access and Corporate Marketing teams
  • Manage supplier relationships with market research vendors and assess KPI’s based on stakeholder feedback

 

Competitive Intelligence Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of material to understand future landscape and the impact it has on the UK
  • Analysis of environment and market
  • Manage assumptions for all markets and products based on fact-based analysis and intelligence
  • To be the UK representative within the global competitive intelligence network
  • Involvement in brand and strategic planning process

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Business and Commercial Acumen is essential
  • Good project management skills
  • Graduate, a Business/Science background would be advantageous
  • Self-motivated
  • Confident presenter with a positive attitude
  • The ability to interpret complex analysis into considered logical material
