Title: Paid Media Manager – PPC & Paid Social

Location: Their main office is based in Milton Keynes – (Travel expenses paid)

Salary £30-£40k plus benefits package

I’m looking for a Paid Media Manager to join a Growth Marketing agency with offices in Milton Keynes. The agency has fully embraced flexible working, you have the option to work from offices in Milton Keynes or work fully remotely (post probation) but they do ask you to attend the office 3 days per month (travel expenses are paid), they understand the world has changed and the demand for a flexible approach to work is the top priority for most workers in the UK.

This role is paying between £30-£40k depending on experience and the benefits package is above average with a few luxuries including unlimited holiday…

You will join an already established Paid Media team of around 10 strong and report into the Paid Media Lead. There are plans to grow the Paid Media team by an extra 4 people in the coming months. This is an incredible opportunity to part of a growing team with big ambition!

This role is client-facing and will be working with technology clients focusing on Lead Gen and Brand Build. This selection of clients all have six-figure monthly budgets and often operate on a global basis, so there is plenty of opportunity to experiment with campaigns across different regions. This role is the first step to strategic management but will remain hands on in the most part, they have a hands-on ethos so everyone in the business still hands right up to the directors.

All of the assigned have a Growth mindset so they will be constantly pushing for a greater ROI, building strong trustworthy relationships with the clients and act as a consultant and prepared to push back when needed.

This role primarily focuses on PPC & Paid Social campaigns and will cover both strategy and hands-on deployment. They are happy to cross-train to other areas of marketing or creativity in the long term, they believe learning never stops so aim to provide learning opportunities constantly, this leaves your career progression completely in your hands.  

The agency works with B2C and B2B so previous experience with both sectors would be advantageous. The most important thing for this agency is you and your personality. PPC & Paid Social can be taught but ambition and drive can’t; as long as you have heaps of that then this could be the perfect move for you.

Additionally, this agency has a £800 training budget per individual as well as a heap of Google Courses fully funded by the company; they truly believe in investing in their staff.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Paid Media Manager, your role will predominantly be focused on working with their clients to develop their paid media strategies and execute campaigns to deliver against

them. You should expect to work with clients across eCommerce, B2B, Tech and SaaS as well as financial services with budgets in the millions.

  • Building relationships with clients to develop an in-depth understanding of their business goals and product offerings so you can develop paid media campaigns
  • Utilising multi-channel paid media campaigns with a conceptual understanding of where each activity sits on the customer’s journey and in the brand's growth strategy
  • Implementing the technical set up of PPC & Paid Social including conversion tracking, landing page building, asset design and copywriting
  • Creating first-party data strategies to unlock the potential of machine learning, increase campaign efficiency and mitigate cookie policy issues.
  • Acting as a mentor to junior members of the team to support their growth and development
  • Be comfortable with commercials including client campaign budget Management

Experience Required:

● Minimum several years experience in a paid search-orientated role (senior executive, junior paid media manager, paid media consultant)

● At least a few years of experience working at a digital or performance marketing agency with e-commerce, professional services, tech/SaaS or financial services brands

● Passionate about developing and delivering exceptional outcomes and results for clients that are underpinned by success metrics and KPIs

● Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills - especially with senior stakeholders

● Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with wider team members

● Experience in using core ad platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)

● Experience reporting from analytics platforms, preferably Google Analytics (GA4), and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)
