Role: Paid Social Executive
Location: 2/3 days in office hybrid set up in London
Salary: Up to circa £33,000 plus 10% bonus paid quarterly, plus benefits and lots more.

  • Your friends think you’re just paid to sit on Facebook or TikTok posting content they don’t understand
  • Your mum likely thinks you’re actually working for Facebook and tells all her friends that
  • Society thinks you’re using covert CIA level privacy breaching tech to activate mobile microphones and listen to people’s private conversations, just so you can send them an advert next time they logon to social media if they mentioned the product or brand
  • You think you’re an absolute ninja, making money for companies through a blend of amazing intelligence and analytical superpowers which help you decide the right approach to take with paid social campaigns

What you actually do is look at spreadsheets of performance data and social media campaign consoles all day. Making tweaks and changes to campaigns, their targeting, content and creative which manifests into revenue for the company’s you’re doing it for.

The better you do it, the more money the company makes in sales and the less ad money they waste hitting up the wrong people at the wrong time.

It’s as simple as that.

ABOUT THE ROLE

What you’re going to be handling is the paid social campaign requirements of a consumer tech brand who are high-end specialists within the audio industry.

Who you’ll be doing it for is an independent but international digital performance agency. The agency has quadrupled in size over the last year, opening multiple international offices, and have expanded their service offering to cover all digital performance channels and creative services.

They originated as a paid social specialist. But following a number of big client wins where client demand extended beyond this. They saw the opportunity to deepen relationships and expand their offering into things including Programmatic, Display, etc.

What they’re recognised for is being incredibly analytical and data driven. It’s not just about speed of turnaround and managing client margins. Their aim is to deliver best performance outcomes for their clients and so this is where your ninja skills come into play around optimisation.

What you’ll find is a strong bias towards this on a day-to-day basis. Digging into campaign performance data and trend analysis to identify the right recommendations and actions to take to fully optimise the client’s media spend across each social channel.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

You’ll be joining a small, but growing team in the London office. Reporting to a line manager who themselves have been earmarked for great things due to their knowledge, drive and attitude.

This is a meritocracy environment. With clearly defined objectives linked to each person’s role and remit, and the ability to be recognised with progression, and recognised through quarterly bonuses for achieving them.

There’s also regular socials and company events taking place so people feel a part of something different, positive and special.

Lastly is visibility. With the company owners being present and involved from a day-to-day basis. Sitting as part of the team in the same office, and mucking in on the work itself. Providing guidance, knowledge and support where it might be needed.

Experience Required

  • Some commercial experience of the setup, run and optimisations of paid social campaigns
  • Keen understanding of how to drive improvements to paid social campaigns through audience segmentation and targeting strategies, test and learn approaches, etc.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Sound numerical reasoning
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised team player
