Job Title: Power Platform Developer

 

We’re working with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner who specialise in charities and the not for profit sector. The company are currently around 100 employees strong but have plans to grow by 20-30% this year.

They are currently hiring for a Power Platform Developer to work on a remote basis with occasional travel to customer sites throughout the country.

 

The company offer a salary of up to £60,000 DOE, a comprehensive benefits package and an annual bonus. On top of this they offer some unique perks such as allowing employees to take one day a month fully paid to volunteer with a charity of their choice and their work from anywhere scheme, which allows you to take your work anywhere in the world for two weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building no-code/low-code solutions on the Power Platform and Dynamics 365
  • Ensuring solution quality and minimizing deployment impact
  • Working closely with consultancy/QA teams to meet deliverables
  • Communicating work completed to the business via demos and sprint review meetings
  • Documenting technical tasks and communicating issue resolutions
  • Estimating, planning and prioritizing own work

Person Profile:

  • Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Front-end development and UI design/component knowledge
  • Power Platform (Power Apps, BI, Automate, Dataverse) and Azure experience
  • REST API and Agile methodology experience
  • Knowledge of Power Platform security best practices
  • 2+ years of project experience developing solutions using the Power Platform
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement (CRM) product experience
  • Canvas App and Dynamics solution structure knowledge
  • Understanding of Power Automate and its standard connectors
  • Agile development team experience (ideally Scrum)
  • Azure DevOps (or similar) experience for backlog/progress tracking

Desirable:

  • Power BI configuration/deployment experience
  • Dynamics platform extension using JavaScript web resources
  • Data store configuration/usage experience  
  • Power BI visualisation experience
  • Microsoft certifications around the Power Platform or Dynamics CRM
  • Preferably have experience within a Microsoft Gold Partner
