I’m working with a Gaming brand based in London who are looking to add a PPC Manager to the team, due to an increased workload they are looking to hire another PPC Manager. They have had a great 2024 and this role is an expansion role focused on growing their customer base on a European basis, they are currently in multiple regions such as the UK, EU, US and South America.

This role will be responsible for PPC on a European basis managing a global budget of over 15 million. There is already a team 3 in place but they have several roles in the planning stage that could increase. They currently have agency support for multiple regions so they will look to you to present a global acquisition strategy and decide what resources should be kept with the agency or brought in-house.

The brand is a well-established player in the online gaming world, over the last couple of years, they have developed a loyal customer base who engages with the way they do business. They are looking hire a PPC Manager to focus on their most critical channel. The PPC team will act as an internal agency and work with stakeholders around the world to define and deliver performance marketing plans. They have a multi-million-pound budget focused on the UK, Spain, Mexico, Sweden, Canada, and plans to enter many new markets.

The role is going to be focused on the strategic aspects of PPC they have an agency retained on a global basis so this role is going to be focused on driving results and eking out the inches for each region. Outside of the day-to-day management of strategic Performance Marketing campaigns, the role will also have the opportunity to get involved with the wider digital marketing strategy and work directly with the Head of Digital Marketing to increase customer conversions globally. They have just finished a restructure so they are looking for an aspiring leader who wants to build a team around them.

The role is based in London and will be required to be in the office three days a week for team-related collaboration. The client has a no video call rule so anytime you’re in the office it will be for something team-related not a Zoom call in a new location.

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive paid search strategies across Google Ads, Bing Ads, ASA, and UAC platforms, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the Senior PPC Executive, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, analytics, and creative, to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable PPC initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, ad copywriting, and ad extension optimization to enhance campaign performance. Ensure continuous monitoring and analysis of campaign metrics, such as CTR, CPC, and conversion rates, to identify and act on optimization opportunities.
  • Implement A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to refine targeting and messaging strategies, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure PPC efforts align with overall marketing goals and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing analytics team to track, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and adjustments.


The PPC Manager role requires the following experience: 

  • Proven experience as a PPC Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of paid search strategies and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, ASA, UAC – Defined experience in one or more listed is preferred..
  • Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, algorithm updates, and new advertising features.
  • Ability to manage budgets and forecasting processes effectively.
