My client is looking for a Receptionist to join them initially for 15 months to cover maternity. They have a history dating back over 300 years across their 4 offices in Kent. With a strong focus on building relationships within their local community, it's easy to see why their clients have named them extensively as being both trustworthy and approachable. 
 
The central duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Operating the firm switchboard and ensuring calls are being sent to the right individual/department.
  • Communicating and assisting visitors to the firm.
  • Ensure all spaces within the firm in which are used by clients are kept clean and tidy.
  • Coordinating meeting room and car park bookings.
  • Provide adhoc secretarial help.
  • Scanning, copying, filing and post.
  • Manage the reception inbox and deal with queries promptly.
  • To take messages for all departments when busy and follow up, respond to any voicemails.
  • Ensuring the postal duties are covered. 
  • Ensure all staff office attendance is recorded and absence reported to Human resources.
  • Scan all post and hand delivered documents to relevant fee earner/secretary.
  • Assist with any faxes that need to be passed on.
  • Print documents ready for clients to collect.
  • New client ID and scanning new instruction forms to fee earner/secretary.
 
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Working Hours: 9am – 5:15pm Monday-Friday
Salary: £20,000 - £23,500
