Role: Recruitment Manager – Life Sciences
Location: Hybrid working, twice a week in Tunbridge Wells office
Salary: Base salary £35,000 to £50,000 based on experience, plus commission (up to 25%), pension, healthcare, life assurance, team over-riders, etc.

Whilst we’re hiring for a Manager right now, we’re actually looking for someone with the ambition to build and shape a team in their vision, and grow their role into an Associate Director!

Our five-year vision is to transform our Pharma division into a team of 12. This will include a structure made up of consultants across the experience spectrum and career grades, as well as a tier of sub-management.

Your journey to Associate Director can be realised much quicker, based on your ability to build your team and deliver to commercial objectives.

Someone who’s able to inspire and provide direction. With a wealth of knowledge and experience within a 360 environment. So knows how to plan business development, build client and candidate relationships. Cut through the noise of competition and establish rapport which turns into valued business partnerships.

But can also do all this through a team. Able to attract and engage talent. Train, nurture and support both experienced hire recruiters in excelling in what they do, as well as training the next generation of recruiters looking to cut their teeth in the industry.

What we’re looking for

  • Highly experienced 360 recruiter who also has experience of training, mentoring and nurturing junior recruiters
  • Able to demonstrate a pedigree of experience in winning new business. Negotiating fees, exclusivity arrangements and successfully influencing in a B2B sales environment
  • Past experience of hiring within the Pharma industry would be a real advantage
  • Good relationship management skills with a commercial focus. You know how to spot the opportunity for win/win and how to finesse things to get positive outcomes
  • You’re organised and know how to structure searches to deliver results for clients quickly and effectively
  • Great people management skills, you’re organised, able to deliver to deadlines and hold others accountable to doing the same
  • Motivated to achieve results, tenacious and driven.
