Senior Analyst, Customer Marketing (CRM)
Location: Hybrid working, Central London offices, 10 days in every month.
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 plus 10% bonus, pension, healthcare, life assurance, etc.

When you’re part of the right business, at the right time, great things can happen.

With this opportunity, you’re joining a company that’s very much of the now and in vogue. Their service offering has never been more important to the UK consumer as they champion the cause of saving people an awful lot of money on their every day, necessity purchases.

Your role will be part of their CRM team, putting intelligence and insight at the core of decision making for multi-channel customer marketing campaigns.

You’ll be the conduit, sitting between the CRM campaigns teams and the data science functions. Looking at the data, providing deep, insight-based recommendations based off the narrative and stories you’ve identified held within customer behavioural data and the trends you can see held within.

Those recommendations will help create transformative campaign strategies, with you showcasing the narrative along with these recommendations to the marketing function to take appropriate action upon.

You’ll be part of the company’s data strategy team. A function responsible to looking at opportunities to leverage customer data for commercial opportunities within customer marketing. Driving cross and up sell within their portfolio of services. With your report line to the head of function.

You’ll be owning projects end-to-end, including the whole stakeholder piece. From taking and shaping briefs, defining what’s needed and any kpi’s, executing against it, and presenting the recommendations and actions back to the business stakeholders.

Providing dashboards around performance, actionable insight and other useful data to support commercial and business recommendations, marketing decisions, etc.

From a technical perspective, you’re going to need a solid stats background with a good handle on SQL, querying and working with relational databases.

But most importantly they are keen to see you’ve got that natural data story-telling skill and the ability to spot and pull a narrative from complex data. Translating it into relevant business speak and de-jargoning it for non-technical audiences.

Alongside this, also have a natural curiosity and interest to want to look into the ‘why’ behind certain data findings.

So if you’re seeing certain spikes or drops in marketing / campaign/ behavioural metrics, you’re the kind of person who would naturally want to work out why you’re seeing that and go and investigate. Then bring to the table a couple of ideas to share with people.

What makes this opportunity so interesting?

It’s got to the people, environment and the employer brand itself.

To many, this employer is a destination one. Prolific and incredibly high profile. Their consumer champion status makes them a place people tend to want to become a part of because their ambition is to do good by the consumer. In doing so they also achieve good things for themselves in the process.

If you want to work in a place made up of impressive people and inspirational leaders, this is the place to be. The environment is one recognised for pace and ambition, yet remains kind and caring.

Experience Needed

  • A background in marketing /CRM or Customer analytics

  • Natural curiosity around the mechanics behind the ‘why’ in data findings and analytics outputs
