Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: North West London, UK Type: Permanent Salary: Band 7 An NHS organisation in North West London is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their IMT Team. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and operation of ICT infrastructure services supporting the operation of the trust's systems. This is a great opportunity for you to provide architectural, operational guidance and oversight for all matters relating to infrastructure design, implementation and operational support. You will be a significant member of the team ensuring all infrastructure is provisioned to meet or surpass all relevant cybersecurity requirements, contributing to one of the largest organisations within the UK. You will be the technical lead for infrastructure, being integral to the delivery of multiple transformation projects within the trust. This role is ideal for someone who takes responsibility for their own actions, promotes good team working and can interpret highly complex technical information and express technical ideas to a non-technical audience. Skills required : Degree/equivalent experience in a senior ICT support role ITIL Foundation qualification CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)/other relevant qualification MCP/MCSE or other relevant qualification Experience of ICT infrastructure support and architecture roles within the health sector Significant experience of design, implementation and support of Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft HyperV Proficiency in the use of all products in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project Highly articulate - particularly able to express technical ideas to a non-technical audience Strong written skills Ability to reprioritise work as required by unexpected events Aptitude for sharing knowledge with other IMT and Project Team members Strong presentation skills to aid in knowledge transfer and to represent the department both within and outside the Trust Able to develop clear training materials and instruction guides/standard operating procedures for use by other IMT staff To learn more about this role, please apply or contact Jessica directly on jessica.shields@bluepelican.com How to apply If this position is of interest please send us your CV here, or you can call Jessica Shields direct on to discuss this and other vacancies that may suit.
