What you’re reading about is an opportunity which really engage with you. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join the Retail Marketing function of a consumer electronics company. The unique aspect about this is the company you’ll be joining. Perhaps not the biggest brand in the world, but they are the biggest of their kind in the UK. Specialising in healthcare tech sold directly to the consumer. They’re part of a parent organisation which turns over circa £4bn p.a. Yet despite their size, they personify the meaning of ‘strong family values’ in many ways, and ones which certainly demonstrate they put their people first. So what about the role itself? Your remit will cover Retail Marketing. Responsible for Brand Marketing within their retail footprint, including delivering in-store advertising and promotional campaigns. The company also has a series of partnerships across the UK, whereby they provide pop-up retail services in those locations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of campaigns and their performance across both owned and partner retail estates. This will include literature creation and collateral, POS materials, digital displays, etc. As well as special promotional material and anything which supports in-store events. You’ll have agency support, and be responsible for briefing out campaigns, ensuring agencies are meeting deadlines and objectives. But also looking to ensure any campaigns which are being delivered are able to be measured effectively. With the appropriate checks and balances in place to be able to do so. You will report to the Head of Brand and will have line management responsibility for a marketing assistant too. Who will support you with day-to-day operations. Pulling things together and organising tasks. The person you’ll be joining is someone with fabulous people skills and is a really good leader. Someone who’s helped drive some really impressive results through the direction she’s brought to the team. Achieving a highly engaging and motivating environment which people love being a part of. ABOUT THE BUSINESS You’ll be joining a global business with more than 10,000 people, specifically within the head office of one of their subsidiaries, principally a consumer healthcare tech brand. KEY EXPERIENCE A marketing pedigree with a good understanding of Retail & Brand Marketing You understand the key elements around campaigns and how to work with multiple teams to get the role delivered. You’re confident in your ability to work with agency partners. Briefing them out effectively, critiquing their responses and able to push back where necessary Good eye for innovation and trailing new things in order to continuously push the envelope You’re pro-active in your learning and can demonstrate how, in your career to date, you’ve been the kind of person who’s been confident tackling problems, skilling up on your knowledge gaps and love opportunities to grow and learn.
