Job Title: Senior Tagging Implementation Specialist – Digital Analytics

Location: West London, UK

Working set up: Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in office

Job Description:           

An iconic British brand is undertaking one of the biggest, most ambitious digital transformation programmes in their entire history.

We’re talking a half billion Pound, multi-year investment programme which includes a complete tech stack upgrade and migration, designed to unlock new revenue opportunities and deliver best in class digital experiences to customers all around the world.

The programme is in its first year of delivery, with teams scaling to support its delivery.

You’ll be joining the data and insight function, a team of around 200 split across different business areas such as marketing, operations, revenue management, pricing and digital and more.

You be joining the team aligned to this transformation programme, specifically within a digital analytics team who provide actionable insights to enhance digital experiences for customers. Be it through understanding behaviour, incremental revenue opportunities and improving customer satisfaction, especially with self-serve functionality.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Tagging Implementation Specialist, you will be working with a range of stakeholders across this programme, all working together to deliver what promises to be one of the biggest step-changes in digital capabilities this company’s seen for more than a decade.

You won’t be working on BAU or live site just yet, as principally everything is in the idea and built stage. So a lot of what you’ll be undertaking involves getting the foundations in place, testing and ensuring it’s all functioning correctly and able to provide the desired outcomes and insights before being pushed to ‘go live’.

You will work with cross-functional teams, understanding what’s needed from each digital site or product. How to go about best implementing tagging using Ensighten, and testing using Adobe Analytics to ensure it’s all functioning as required. This will include knowing how to approach tagging effectively for dynamic, live update pages. As a number of areas of the site includes the ability for customers to make changes which impact on the product itself and pricing, but without changing pages.

Your role will include, but not limited to:

  • Managing the tag management system and ensure all tags are implemented accurately, efficiently and effectively.
  • Conducting quality testing and checking data to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve the ability to measure and analyse site performance and customer behaviour.
  • Supporting the delivery of insights and recommendations to improve the digital customer experience.
  • Collaborating with marketing, IT and development teams to ensure digital performance tracking and analysis is aligned to business goals and objectives.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in Tag Management systems working with Adobe Analytics, preferably Adobe DTM, Launch, Tealium, Ensighten, Dynatrace, etc.
  • You’ve worked on complex, large scale digital estates before and have experience of Adobe Marketing Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of digital analytics, data management and reporting tools
  • A good understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical skills
